When you defeat someone in a duel, you automatically gain this amount of currency depending on your life points at the end of the duel:
8000 - 7001 = 1750CP
7000 - 6001 = 1500 CP
6000 - 5001 = 1250 CP
5000 - 4001 = 1000 CP
4000 - 3001 = 750 CP
3000 - 2001 = 500 CP
2000 - 1001 = 250 CP
1000 - 101 = 2000 CP
100 - 1 = 3000 CP
Alright, at this simple system may look complicated, but it's very simple! As you see that's the way the money is gained at the end of a battle. Your Opponent HAS TO CONFIRM that you had the set amount of life points at the end of the duel. When you're caught in a position where you think that you may, or even if you don't think that you may become caught by a role player who will lie, screenshot every match to ensure that this doesn't happen! There is a camera on Dueling Network to do so if you don't want to Prnt/Screen Screenshot.
Monsters are worth 100 CP per Level. This means Lvl. 1 Monster = 100 Moneys. Lvl. 2 = 200, and so on. Spell and Traps are worth 200 CP a piece.
Synchro's, XYZ's, and Fusion Monsters are worth double their Level/Rank. So Stardust Dragon Lvl. 8? = 1600 CP since it's a Syncho Monster.
As you see, the Life Point system isn't bad! Right!?
P.S. You cannot purchase monsters who's level/rank exceed 8. Don't worry it will be included as prize cards.
